What's New

HHC Publishes Draft 2008 Annual Plan

At the HHC's 02/14/2008 regular meeting, the HHC voted to post its draft 2008 Annual Plan.  A public hearing prior to adoption is scheduled for the Commission's regular meeting at 12:00 noon on April 03, 2008.

HHC Adopts Violence Against Women Act Policy

At the HHC's 12/13/2007 regular meeting, the Commission adopted a Violence Against Women Act (VAWA) Policy. 

HHC Adopts Records Retention and Disposition Policy

At its regular meeting held on June 07, 2007, the HHC adopted a new Records Retention and Disposition Policy, following HUD guidelines.  This new policy should allow the HHC to reduce the number of obsolete records in storage.

HHC Adopts New Employee Health Savings Account Benefit Plan

At a special meeting held June 17, 2007, the HHC adopted a new employee health savings account plan for employees.  The HHC reviewed several options for providing health coverage prior to deciding on the new plan.

The mission of the Housing Commission of Hillsdale is to assist low-income families with safe, decent, and affordable housing opportunities as they strive to achieve self-sufficiency and improve the quality of their lives. The Housing Commission is committed to operating in an efficient, ethical, and professional manner. The Housing Commission will create and maintain partnerships with its clients and appropriate community agencies in order to accomplish this mission.

We are located at the corner of North and West Streets, in Hillsdale.  We are directly across from Davis Middle School on West Street, and across from the Elks building on North Street.  Visitor parking is provided in the City parking lot, directly across from the Elks building.
